What is Calisthenics?

Calisthenics harnesses your body weight for resistance, emphasizing functional strength and body control to improve athletic performance and daily life.

 

Core exercises like pull-ups, push-ups, dips, squats, and burpees are taken up a notch at BABC with gymnastics rings, plyometric boxes, resistance bands, and more.

 

We offer modifications and variations to accommodate every fitness level, ensuring everyone can thrive and progress at their own pace.

For Coach Carlos, the dream of creating a vibrant calisthenics community has been a decade-long journey. From hosting classes in Progress Park beneath the Bay Bridge during the pandemic to his personal transformation fueled by the practice, his dedication is unwavering. Now, committed to sharing this transformative experience, he's building a supportive hub where individuals thrive and achieve their fitness goals.

Coach Jose joins BABC with equal passion for calisthenics, contributing to the unique blend of high-intensity interval training and dynamic movements. Their classes, a fusion of strength, resilience, and camaraderie, offer a transformative experience for all.
